Pete Colman, founder of Vermont Salumi, first contacted me for social media strategy.


His passion for his craft was evident, yet reaching customers outside of his local farmer's market was increasingly challenging.


When researching for his social media strategy, we identified that his actual customers were the local grocery stores. With this in mind, we implemented a strategy that began with getting his product in front of store owners and managers.


That strategy informed further marketing tactics that extended to his end user: the shoppers of the grocery stores, more specifically Gen X and Gen Y women with some education, a family, and a household income over $60,000.


I developed his brand and website, generated buzz amongst regional grocery stores of every new add on the store locator feature, and deployed a social media strategy to drive end-user awareness to the Vermont Salumi brand.
